After purchase you will receive a download link for ModelMedic. Download and save the ModelMedic.ZIP file to your hard drive. It is approximately 16MB in size. The ZIP (compressed) file contains a single EXE installer file.
Make certain you temporarily disable your anti-virus program when installing ModelMedic. Backing up your computer hard drive should be a regular process, but you should make a full backup before installing ModelMedic or any software program.
Double-click the ZIP to see the contents. Extract or double-click on the Installer EXE to start the installation. You may see the following Security Warning. Click Run to start the installer.
Click Next on the Welcome Screen
Read and Accept the Terms and Conditions
Click on the Install button to start the installation process
If Microsoft ReportViewer is not installed on your system, it will automatically be installed. This free module from Microsoft provides a standardized method of producing reports.
When the installation has completed, click Finish.
Re-enable your anti-virus program. Start Autodesk Revit Architecture. Click on the Add-Ins Ribbon and launch ModelMedic!
We provide free support for the installation and functionality of the ModelMedic software. We provide this support by email only. Do not call us. We do not provide Revit model analysis or Revit technical support for free. We prefer that you contact your Authorized Autodesk Reseller for Revit support, but we can and do offer Revit technical support on a fee basis. Email us if you want to purchase a Revit support plan from us.
